Hafssól

Because my very first website was made in Flash — the only web software I knew at the time — it was not restricted by web-safe fonts. In the end I designed a custom 8-point pixel typeface for it, which turned out to be my very first completely finished typeface.

Hafssól lends it’s name from a song by Sigur Rós that was playing when I had to change the working title Untitled to render the final file.
