When I was asked by Studio Lin to design some custom lettering for their design for the Core77 Design Awards, we decided to base it upon a pre-existing font: Grey Display Curve Bold.

The bespoke cut was titled Proficiat — Flemish for congratulations — sporting some Americana-style serifs. For the second year a lighter set was requested that included a full set of numerals.
